Miss McCormick suffered a relapse following an operation for relief from appendicitis in St. John's hospital. The decendent was 28 years old and a daughter of Hugh and Mary McCormick of Pawnee. The remains were brought to Pawnee Saturday night and taken to the family residence, four and one-half miles southeast of the city.
Born near Farmersville on Sept. 17, 1890, she lived in and near Pawnee the greater part of her life. Miss McCormick was educated at Ursuline convent at Springfield. Surviving along with her parents are a sister, Winnifred; and three brothers, Howard, Hugh and Thomas McCormick, all of Pawnee. One sister, Mary Theresa, died in 1902.
