Funeral at 10 am Tuesday For Retired Farmer, Stock Buyer

Oren E. Moser, 79, R.R. 1, Berne, a retired farmer and stock buyer, died at 12:30 pm Saturday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital. Death was caused by a heart condition. He suffered a heart attack October 22.
Mr. Moser was a lifelong resident of this community.
He was born in Monroe Township December 24, 1890, a son of Levi and Judith Winteregg Moser. He was married to Louise Kirchhofer May 12, 1919 in Berne.
Surviving are the wife; two sons, Howard W. Moser, Tucson, Arizona and Virgil L. Moser, Greensburg, Indiana; a daughter, Mrs. Ornell L. (Evangeline) Lehman, Berne; six grandchildren; a brother, Marcus Moser, R.R. 1, Berne and three sisters, Mrs. Jacob (Ona) Stucky, R.R. 1, Berne; Mrs. Ira (Irene) Stucky, R.R. 2, Berne and Mrs. Marcus (Estella) Lehman, Berne.
A brother, Harve and two sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Mary) Neuenschwander and Mrs. William P. (Lillie) Habegger preceded in death.
Mr. Moser was a member of the First Mennonite Church. He was a veteran of World War I, serving from June of 1918 to February of 1919.
Services will be held at 10 am Tuesday at the First Mennonite Chapel, Rev. Gordon Neuenschwander and Rev. Gerald Stucky officiating. Burial will be in the MRE Cemetery.
