Harriet Elizabeth (Newkirk) Holmes Dolsen was the daughter of Samuel Newkirk. Rev. Ninian Holmes was her 1st husband. He was a minister in the Genesee Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Holmes died May 5, 1829. Daniel Samuel Dolsen was her 2nd husband. He died November 1, 1896.
