Audrey E. Brewer,78,of Springfield passed away Thursday,July 2008,at Memorial Medical Center. she was born Feb.04 1930,in Macomb,the daughter of Howard and Margaret Black Hainline. She married Lyndal Brewer in 1949 in Macomb. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather,Lloyd DeCamp, and a sister, Beverly Joan Warren. Audrey was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith. She loved to read and grow flowers. She is survived by her husband Lyndal; a son Dr. Michael (wife Sandy) Brewer of Springfield ;two daughter Teresa Brewer (Patrick Witcik) of Springfield and Rebecca Brewer of Reed Springs,Mo.;eleven grandchildren eight great grandchildren ;and several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held from 4 p.m.until 6 p.m. Sunday August 3, 2008 at Vancil Murphy Funeral Home in Springfield. A memorial gathering will also be held from 11:30 am until 1:30p.m. Tuesday August 5, 2008, at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Funeral Home in Macomb. with the Rev.Frederick E. Larner officiating . In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
