Evelyn S. Salvatore Bartolomei, 91, of Hamilton Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 23, 2010 in Care One in Hamilton Township. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong Trenton area resident. Mrs. Bartolomei was employed by her brothers, Reynold and Thomas Salvatore of Salvatore's Drug Store, corner of Hamilton and South Clinton Avenues, Trenton, for over 40 years, until her retirement in 1978. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish, Trenton. Daughter of the late Thomas and Carmela Palmeggiano Salvatore; sister of the late Arthur, Elmer, Joseph, Reynold, Thomas, Elisa, and Josephine Salvatore, Fannie Chianese, and Matilda Territo, she is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph T. Bartolomei; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas J. and Joan M. Bartolomei of Hamilton Township, and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from the Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Ave., Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at Our Lady of the Angels Parish/Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Ave., Trenton. A Remembrance will be shared by her son, Thomas, at 9:15 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
