Josef Zwyhun of Pearl River, NY died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Nyack Hospital. He was 84. Mr. Zwyhun was the owner of Good Deal Painting Company in Pearl River. Josef was born in the Ukraine and emigrated to the United States from Germany on March 30, 1957 with the help of the Tolstoy Farm Foundation. On April 4, 1956 he married Ilse in Hanover, Germany. He has been a resident of Pearl River for 51 years. He is survived by his wife Ilse of Pearl River; two sons Joe Zwyhun (Denise Sullivan) of Pearl River and Nestor Zwyhun (Linda) of Ridgewood, NJ; two grandchildren Kelsey and Peter. Visiting is Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.
