Ercil Freeland Casseday, 73, principal of Terra Alta High School for many years, died Wednesday at the Bay of Pines Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. A veteran of WW I, he had served as a teacher and principal at Terra Alta High School for many years. Surviving are his widow, Hilda Pentony Casseday of Sarasota, Fla.; two sons, Roger Casseday of Newbury, Ohio, and Ercil Jr., of Alliance, Ohio; one daughter, Miss. Eugenia Casseday, also of Alliance. Funeral services are being arranged for Arlington National Cemetery.
