Monte was a gorgeous SealPoint Siamese Male Cat. Look closely at the photo and you will see him on the little girl's lap (no, that's not me....).
His amazing temperment allowed him to endure the busy life of four kids. The poor cat was thrown in the pond a few times (good swimmer), climbed trees, and allowed the girls to put dresses on him and cuddle him.
Somehow he maintained his Siamese dignity and could be found sleeping contently in the sun.
Soft and cuddly, he was a wonderful cat. Great personality and lovable.
He was so beautiful with fur like silk. He was very special to our family.
Sadly he died at about age 8 from kidney failure.
Everyone was crying that night.
