After a long lingering illness from consumption, Mrs. Belle Aldridge, wife of John E. Aldridge, of Helt township, has passed the river of death and gone to that better world where sickness and sorrow are known no more. The deceased was about 23 years of age, and the youngest daughter of T.S. Hood. Her funeral took place yesterday at her late residence, Rev. John McDaniel of the M.E. Church preaching the discourse, after which her remains were followed to the Helt's Prarie Cemetery, and gently laid away to rest.
