Funeral services to celebrate the life of Donnie will be 2:00 PM Frida y in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Donnie Royce Cooper, Sr., 55, of 18 Cooper Street, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at his home. Born in Pickens he was a son of Robert 'Bob' Cooper and the late Viola Richardson Cooper.
Mr. Cooper was a huge Nascar Fan, and his favorite driver was the 17 car of Matt Kenseth.
Surviving in addition to his father of the home are two daughters, Theresa Hannah of Pickens, and Tammy Peel of Simpsonville; a son, Donnie Cooper, Jr. of Ware Shoals; a sister, Susan Chapman of Liberty; 5 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Gary Wayne Cooper.
