Houston, Texas, Ronald J "Doc" Lorimore, 53 , died May 10, 1999, at his home in Houston. He was born Dec 27, 1945, at Dodge City, the son of Milo W and Isabel V Noll Lorimor, He graduated from Spearville High School in 1963, received a Bachelor's Degree in Arts in 1968 from Fort Hays State University and received a masters degree from Kansas State University in 1970. He taught at Fort Hays State University for two years before attending Purdue University where he received his PHD. In 1976. A Houston resident since 1975, formerly of Hay, Manhattan, and Lafayette, Ind., he was an associate professor with the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, from 1975 until his death.
On June 10, 1967, he married Karen K Droste of Spearville. She survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Marcia C Randolph, Russell.
Funeral will be at 2:30 pm Friday at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, with nevell Razak presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 pm Thursday and 9 AAM to 2:30 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
Memorial may be sent to Hospice of the Prairie of the Ron Lorimor Memorial Scholarship fund, both in care of the funeral home.
