Benjamin Denny (Den) Blaker, 78, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 1951, in his home at 67 Masontown road, Carmichaels, R. D. 1. He was born February 27, 1873, at Fordyce, a son of Heaton and Elsie Smith Blaker. A retired carpenter, Mr. Blaker resided most of his life in Cumberland Township, with the exception of a few years spent as a resident of Charleroi. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Carmichaels. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mae Reeves Blaker; Mrs. Dessie Davis, at home; a grandson, John J. Davis, at home; and two brothers, Vint Blaker of Fordyce and Harry Blaker of Carmichaels, R. D. 1. Two sisters and three brothers preceded Mr Blaker in death.

D. 1, who died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 1951, are being received at the Michael Lucas Funeral Home, in Carmichaels where funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in charge of the Rev. Warren G. McCready. Burial will be in the Garards Fort Cemetery.
