On the 1860 census John is listed as age 3. 1870 age 11, 1880 age 21 and the 1900 census his d.o.b. shows Aug. 1858. His wf was informant on his death cert. which shows Aug 10, 1863.
I am going to leave the date of 1858 on this memorial because it's obvious by the 1860 census that he was definitely born before 1860.
