(ASN 37268097) He left Camp Butner on a Monday evening at 5pm, arriving at Durham, NC at 7pm. On January 20, 1943 at 9:30pm he arrived at the Army Air Forces basic flying school in Courtland, Alabama. He served as a Private, 510 Eng Co., Camp White, Oregon. Leonard took furloughs Mar 19-29, 1942 and Aug 22 - Sept. 5, 1943. He served for 4 years.
