Earl C. Brown, died Jan. 28,
1997, at his home in Old Orchard
Beach. He was born April 4, 1942, in
Charleston, the son of Ernest and
Virginia (Sprague) Brown.
He is survived by his father, Ernest Brown
of Harmony; his wife, Barbara (Curtis)
Brown of Portland; one daughter
Kelly Brown of Portland; one son,
Lee Brown of Charleston; a sister;
Linda Peterson of Derby; two brothers,
Lawrence Bennett Jr. of Glenburn and
Glenn Bennett of Exeter; three grandchildren,
Cody Brown of Portland, Samantha Brown
and Veronica Brown, both of Charleston;
several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Virginia
(Sprague) Frith; and a son, Colin Brown.
Friends may call 7-9 Friday at Brookings
Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St.,
Brewer, where funeral services will be held 12
noon Saturday with Rev. Ronald Walden,
officiating. Interment will be in South Levant
Cemetery in the spring.
