Mrs. Joanna Virginia Kefauver, wife of Lewis F. Kefauver, died at her home at Gray Haven, Air View, near Middletown, at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, aged nearly 80 years.
Surviving are her husband, L. F. Kefauver, and the following children: Walter E., Washington; Misses Daisy E. and Emma A., at home; Howard D., near Middletown; William J., Middletown; Orville Kefauver, Mt. Savage, Md. and Alden C. Kefauver, Washington. Sisters and brothers surviving follow: Mrs. Sarah Keller, Hagerstown; Mrs. Minnie Orndorf, Dayton Ohio; John C. Cookerly, Germantown, Ohio; Charles Cookerly, Baltimore; William Cookerly, Winter Haven, Fla.; Mrs. Hallie Wales, Toledo, Ohio and Sister Agnes Cookerly, of St. Francis Technical School, San Francisco, Cal. Sixteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild also survive.
Mrs. Kefauver was a consistent member of the Reformed Church, Middletown, and of the Ladies Aid Society. She was unselfish and untiring in her home life, very domestic in manner of living. Last February Mr. and Mrs. Kefauver celebrated their 59th anniversary of their marriage at which time they had as their guests all their children, grandchildren and many friends present.
The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the services at the late home at Air View and interment in the Reformed Cemetery in Middletown.
