Pete worked as a "die sinker" at Standard Forgings in East Chicago, Indiana, for over 30 years. Upon his arrival to the United States in 1921, Pete traveled the United States extensively, residing & working in Detroit and also NYC for a time before marrying & settling in Northwest Indiana. After retiring due to ill health, he & wife Mamie traveled more while residing in Arizona.
