Oris D. Fording,68, Muncie native, died Aug. 30 in Whittier, Calif., after a long illness. Mr. Fording had been living in Whittier for the past 28 years.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie; two sons, Robert Fording, Whittier, and Donald Fording, La Mirada, Calif.; one daughter, Joyce Regehr, Whittier, and 10 grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial were held at Rose Memorial Park in Whittier.
