JEWETT, Texas, March 19. – Henry Boykin, County Treasurer of Leon County, was killed in an auto wreck yesterday afternoon. Boykin lost control of the his car and missed the bridge on Beaver Creek, two miles south of Centerville. Boykin was killed instantly, his neck being broken and Knight, a companion, was pinned under the car, in the water. Another car was just behind them and rescued Knight just in time to save him from drowning.
