Mrs. Sarah Parker
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Francis Armstrong Parker were held March 8th at the Vaiden Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Cooper, the Rev. Blackwood of Vaiden and the Rev. Warren Black of Lambert officiating. Interment was in the Vaiden cemetery under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Herman Parker, Bobbie Barbour, Harold Stanton, Dell Davis, Bobbie Joe Stanton and Frank Stanton.
Mrs. Parker was born in Attala county April 3. 1866, and on December 15, 1900, she married S. L. Parker who died in 1953. Mrs. Parker who passed away at her residence in Vaiden on March 6th after a lingering illness was a member of the North Union (Attala County) Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters Mrs. Ben Redmond of Cleveland, Mrs. Estelle Wiltshire and Mrs. Joe Stanton of Vaiden; three sons, J. C. Davis and G. L. Davis of Merigold and Jesse Parker of Cleveland; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Vaiden Rites for Mrs. Sarah F. Parker, Former Altaian
Services for Mrs. Sarah Frances Parker of Vaiden were held at 2 Friday afternoon at the Baptist Church in Vaiden. The Rev. Joe Cooper, pastor, & the Rev. Warren Black of Lambert officiated. Burial was in Vaiden cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in Winona in charge.
Mrs. Parker, who was 90, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Estell Wiltshire.
Mrs. Parker was born in Attala county, & was married in 1900 to S.L. Parker, farm owner. He died several years ago. She was a member of North Union Baptist church in Attala County.
She leaves 2 other daughters, Mrs, Ben Redmond of Cleveland & Mrs. Joe Stanton of Vaiden, & 3 sons, J.C. Davis & G.L Davis of Merigold & Jessie Parker of Cleveland.
