Phyllis was born on August 30, 1931 in Gothenburg, Neb. to Lloyd and Pearl (Hewitt) Whited. She lived for a time in Colorado Springs, Colo., moving to Dix in 1973. She was employed for many years as a housekeeper at the Holiday Motel and later the Kimball Super 8, retiring at age 70.
Mrs. Allison was a lifetime member of the V. F. W. Auxiliary, serving as President while residing in Colorado Springs. She ran Bingo at the V. F. W. for many years. Phyllis was a past member of the Dix Garden Club. She loved animals, especially her cats. She also spent many hours visiting with the residents of the Kimball Manor.
Phyllis is survived by her two children� daughter Artith and husband (Curtis) Williamson of Dix, and son, Brian McCracken of Cripple Creek, Colo.; grandchildren Becky and husband David Halligan of Potter; Terry Williamson and wife Trisha of Chadron, Neb., Lori Harris of North Platte, Neb., Jesse Williamson of Dix, Nicole, and Christina McCracken; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother Eugene, and sister Norma Gene Ronnekamp.
