Willard was the 2nd child born in a family of 4 children born to Willard Desmond Albritton, Sr. and Angelee (Curry) Albritton. He was named after his father and they nicknamed him "Dess."
The first 2 photos on this page were taken on Easter Sunday, April 6, 1958. Dess and his mother are all dressed up for church.
On the day of Aug. 25, 1958, little Dess was in his daddy's shop. Being a naturally curious 2 year old, Dess pulled on something, which caused a large piece of Metal to fall and hit him in the head, causing his instant death. Understandably this caused unspeakable grief for the family.
The earth body of this Little Angel was gently laid to rest in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
