Dr. West married two of David Barr Robb's daughters, Charity in 1841 and Cordelia in 1845. His home and practice were at the corner of W. Emerson and N. Hart streets in what is now The Eagles. It was spared from the destructive fire of July 12, 1893. Dr. West was a founding member of the Medical Society, formed in Princeton, May 1, 1874.
