Larry Wayne Hoobler died on March 11, 2010 after an extended illness. He was born on December 21, 1943 in Riverside, California to Barbara R (Hopkins) Hoobler and Clayton Wayne Hoobler. He was the oldest of three children. He graduated Granger High School in Salt Lake City, Utah and enlisted in the US Army in July 1964. He served combat duty in the Dominican Republic Crisis in 1966. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia (Patty) Hoobler Simonsen. He married Constance (Connie) L. Vaughan in 1967. They have four children, Roy of Florida, Ray (Sherry) of California, Cindy of Oregon, and Ryan of Utah. Larry has four grandchildren, Micah, Rachel, Michael and Katherine and one sister, Cheva (Kent) Hoobler Christensen. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City, Utah beginning at 2pm with Larry's nephew, Jeff Simonsen officiating.
