Orville was the son of William Speary and Fannie Malinda Tracewell. He was married three times: Daisy E Schindler (divorced) with two children; Mabel Agnes Stover (died 10 Feb 1951); and Mae L Browning and had two children.

OBIT: Speary, Orville T., age 59, of 110 E. Main, Trotwood, died suddenly at his residence Saturday. He was a pressman at the McCall Corporation for 25 years. He is survived by wife, Mae; 2 daughters, Mrs. Wanda Shockey, Fla., Connie Sue, at home; 2 sons, Orville T. Jr., Springfield and William, at home; stepdaughter, Mrs. Janet Emmons, Long Beach, Calif.; step son, James Teer, Trotwood; brother, Otto, Springfield; 2 sisters, Mrs. Clesta Browning and Mrs. Myrtle Hayden, both of Springfield; 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Rogers Funeral Home, 110 W. Main, Trotwood, Rev. Adam Bigler officiating. Burial Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
