She was the daughter of John Randolph and Lillian Jordan Bray. She was a native of the community of Rose Hill near Lequire and had lived in Quinton since 1977. She was married to Author McMahan for 44 years and assisted him on the farm, but mainly was a homemaker. She is survived by three sons, Billy and Norine McMahan of Mounds, Charles and Sue McMahan of Krebs, and Johnny and Joe McMahan of Lequire; five daughters, Gertrude Bush and Minnie Mix, both of McCurtain, Leota Wilson of Kinta, Clara and Edmond Eaton of Lequire and Lonnie Wilson of Spiro. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Ruby McMahan and Wilma Yount; three brothers and four sisters.
