Funeral services for Mrs.William Alvin (Martha M.)Ratliff will be 3 pm Wednesday in the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home with burial in Fairlawn cemetery.
Mrs. Ratliff,85, formerly of 2040 N. Main st. died at 6:15 Sunday in the home of her daughter in Springfield. Mrs. Ratliff moved from Decatur to Springfield four years ago. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church, Springfield.
Mrs.Ratliff was born Aug. 22, 1880 in Coulterville, a daughter of Henry and Jane Orr Jackson. She was married to William Alvin Ratliff, June 22,1903 in Decatur. Mr. Ratliff died in 1938.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs.Florence Ruff,Springfield, one sister, Mrs.Ellen Preston, Tamaro, one grandchild and three great grandchildren. One son, Clarence Henry Ratliff preceded her in death.
