Edna C. Thompson, 77, of 342 E. Emerson Ave., died at 3:05 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 1980, in Greene Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for 14 days.
She was born May 3, 1903 in Union County, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Bertha Knox Lash. She had been a resident of this area since 1943.
She is survived by nine daughters, Mrs. Gerri (Osie) Rice of Ft. Worth, Texas, Mrs. Lola Hedrick of Dayton, Mrs. Jo Ann Armentrout of Marysville, Ohio, Mrs. Sara Hagler of Tempe, Ariz., Mrs. Carole Burchett of Wilmington, Calif., Mrs. Sally Montgomery of Westt Liberty, Ky., and Mrs. Marie Montgomery, Mrs. Cindy Henerson and Mrs. Becky Smith, all of Fairborn; two sons, Leo Thompson of Roundhead, Ohio, and Harry Thompson of Fairborn; 27 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She is also survived by seven sisters, Lucille Poole of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Grace Ludermilk of Sunbury, Ohio, Elma Denman and Leannis Cowgil, both of Columbus, Ohio Elaine Bozman of Grafton, Ohio, Clara Mae Duncan of Belle Center, Ohio, and Olive Dillon of South Charleston, Ohio; two brothers, Walter Lansdown of Kenton, Ohio, and Robert Lash of Grove City, Ohio, and one uncle.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Burcham Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Benner officiating.
Burial will be in Raymond, Ohio
