***** I met Glen after my tour in vietnam while stationed at Ft Benning. He was going through the NCO Acad with orders for Nam. His wife and mine were best friends in school. He was a serious kind individual and was a good man. He is surely missed and the world is a lessor place without him

On June 20, 1970 Sgt Glenn Allen Parks, at the age of 24 years old, became a ground casualty.

He died from a non-hostile drowning while in Tay Ninh, South Vietnam.

His body was recoverd.
