Margrette Jenny McCune, 96, of Perkins Pavilion, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at Perkins Pavilion. Margrette was born December 3, 1905 in Clay County, Nebraska to John Jacob & Meta Antkea (Post) Gembler. Margrette was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil, Nebraska.

Margrette married Edmund Floyd McCune on February 16, 1929 and he preceded her in death on May 17, 1978. She was a homemaker and a housekeeper in several Hastings couples homes. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of All Saints Lutheran Church at the Good Samaritan Village.

Margrette was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edmund, daughter, Catherine Ann McCune, 1 sister, Engelean Asmus and a brother, Harold Post.
