Funeral services for Rosie Della Hollars, 90, of Monterey, who died Monday, July 25 at Standing Stone Health Care Center, were held Thursday, July 28 at Monterey First Baptist church with burial at Welch Memorial Cemetery.
She was born October 28, 1897 in Overton county, the daughter of George and Mary Brown Dailey. She was a member of the Monterey First Freewill Baptist church.
She is survived by 3 sons, Dooley, Marion, Ind; Herbert, Cookeville; William, Anderson, Ind; 4 daughters, Lillie Vanderpool, Lancing, Tn; Margaret Ledbetter, Monterey; Louise Smith, Wartburg; Agnes Powell, Hollsboro, Oh; one brother, Newton Dailey, Hilham; a daughter-in-law, Ann Hollars, Monterey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a daughter, Beulah Ellis; a son, Eugene Hollars; and a step-daughter, Mae Hall.
