John Amo, 68, a well known and highly respected resident of Ellenburg Center, passed away Tuesday afternoon at 4:50 o'clock at the Champlain Valley hospital, in Plattsburgh, where he had been confined for the past four weeks.
The deceased, who was born in Clayburg, is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Milo Welsh, of Beekmantown.
The funeral services will be held from St. Edmund's Roman Catholic church, Ellenburg Corners, of which parish Mr. Amo was a member.
