SKETCH OF MRS. FOSTER.
Funeral services for Mrs. Richard "Dick" FOSTER were held at the Nale funeral home Thursday afternoon by Rev. Allan Gill. Burial was in the Maple Hill cemetery. Flora Alice LUSTER, daughter of the late William LUSTER and Caroline BEARD-LUSTER was born in Fayette county, Illinois, March 27th 1868. With her parents she came to Fairfield at an early age. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In her young womanhood she was married to Richard B. FOSTER, January 1st, 1890. To this union six children were born. two dying in infancy.
Surviving are three daughters, Gladys, wife of J. R. MOSELY West Frankford, Carolyn, wife of Roy JOHNSON, Golden Gate; Josephine, wife of Uel PHELPS, Fairfield and one son, Luster V. FOSTER of Fairfield,; sisters Mrs. Josephine McALISTER, White Cloud, Kan.; Mrs. Nettie JOHNSON, Kansas City, Kan.; Mrs. C. E. CASTLE and Misses Lou and Lillian LUSTER of Fairfield. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death. Her husband died only a few weeks ago. *dj5/28/1998c
