Obituary:

Florence (Mrs. Donald) Gare, 84, of Faribault, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003 at the St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Sacred Heart, in Faribault, with the Rev. Kevin Finnegan, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation is scheduled for 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, Faribault, and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the service. Parish prayers will be recited Thursday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.

Florence Helen Bouchey, the daughter of Fred and Emma

(Demary) Bouchey, was born June 25, 1918 in Faribault. On May 1, 1937, she married Donald Gare at the Sacred Heart Church in Faribault. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1999. She was a home maker for most of her life, but did work part time at the Faribault Daily News as a paper inserter. She spent time volunteering at the Faribault Area Senior Center and at the Clothes Closet in Faribault. She was a member of the Divine Mercy Church Rosary Society, the Gadabouts and Bible study groups.

She is survived by three daughters, Janice (and Raymond) Liverseed, Jean (and Lawrence) Condon and Lorraine (and Francis) Bultman, all of Faribault; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great stepgranddaughter; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Genevieve Reichert.
