A. G. Cheney, aged 55, former county commissioner and for many years a resident of Natrona County, where he owned large ranch interests, died at noon today at his home near Freeland. He had been in poor health for several years and spent some time in California. His illness became acute last night.
Funeral services will be held at Freeland tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Surviving Mr. Cheney are his widow, and the following children: Mrs. Ruby Bodie [sic], W. H. Cheney, Mrs. Nellie Ford, Ruth, Tom and James Cheney, all of whom were with him at the time of his death.
