The funeral of Mrs. Daniel L. Clark was held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Freeland Schoolhouse, 8 miles from the home of the deceased in Bates Hole. Interment took place in the Freeland cemetery, the services being conducted by Rev. A. J. Hansen of the Baptist Church of this city, and were attended by a large number of friends and relatives.
Samuel Shuck, a brother of Mrs. Clark, who was to have arrived for the funeral, missed connections at Denver and will not reach Casper until this evening. His home is at Red Cloud, Iowa. A sister, Mrs. Mary Connor, was visiting here from Nebraska at the time death occurred.
