William Henry Barlow, the son of William Henry and Alice (nee Swindalls) Barlow, was born in Wigan, England on 21 March 1872. He immigrated to Canada from England in1890. He married Frances Mary Styles in Wentworth Canada on 1 January 1898. They had three children Edith Florence born in 1899, Alice Francis born in 1900 and Roger William born in 1905. The Barlow Family immigrated to Buffalo, New York in 1906. William was a metal machinist working on cars and airplanes. He died in Clarence, New York on 24 May 1953.
