At the time of her death, she was working toward her master's degree at TUI University in emergency disaster management.
On Dec. 5, 2009, she married Joseph Edward Sicard at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. Following their wicked awesome wedding, they made their home on Al Monty Drive in Barre Town.
Survivors include her husband, Joe "Boston" Sicard; her daughter, Falyn Sicard; her parents, Gregory "Greg" and Gisele Richards, all of Barre Town; a sister, Lisa, and her husband, Charles Byers III, and their children, Charles Byers IV and Lilliana Byers, all of Winslow, Maine; her maternal grandparents, Gerard and Theresa Fortin of Waterville, Maine; her paternal grandmother, Gertrude O'Brien of Rangeley, Maine; aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Gerald Richards, and her paternal step-grandfather, Cal O'Brien.
