Mary Jo Zey, 68, Kansas City, KS, passed away August 1, 2010 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, August 6, at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, August 5, at the Maple Hill Funeral Home. The Rosary will be said at 7 p.m., Thursday.
Mary Jo was a life-long Kansas City, KS, resident. She was an X-ray technician for St. Joseph Health Center, and later was a receptionist for Dr. Oxler and Dr. Ragland for 13 years. Mary Jo was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Hubert W. Zey, of the home; son, Hubert W. Zey, II (wife) Jen, Wichita, KS; 2 sisters, Ruth S. Campos and Elvira Pacheco (husband) Merced, both of Kansas City, KS; 4 grandchildren: Maranda, Hugh, Nadia, and Luke; and many nieces and nephews.
