Born April 4, 1936, in Hamilton, Ala., he was the son of Josh and Luna Stidham.
He was retired from Vic West Steel after a long life of truck driving and working as a mechanic with various companies in many states.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Avery Stidham.
Survivors include four sons, Allen Louis Stidham of Sonora, Richard Duane Stidham of Tontitown, John Waymon Stidham of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bobby Miller of Michigan; a daughter, Renee Emerson of Portageville, Mo.; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Stidham of Hamilton, Ala., and Larry Stidham of Fort Myers, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
There will be a wake from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at his home, 706 S. Pleasant in Springdale.
