Mrs. Marian Katherine Bridger Carter, 80, of 813 Cypress Street died, Friday, June 29, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Central United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Quinton Covington. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Faulkner of Toledo, OH and Anita Israel of Laurinburg; two brothers, Roger Bridger and Darrell Bridger of Laurinburg; three sisters Ophelia Adams of Cincinnati, OH., Evelyn Caudill and Vara Hilburn of Laurinburg; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was a former pianist for Central United Methodist Church.
