Randie W. Spoon, 60, Billings, passed away early November 2, 2008, in his home. He was born June 22, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Winfred and Guinevere (Combs) Spoon. Randie grew up in Billings, and entered the U.S. Navy, serving in Vietnam. He worked as a Naval Diesel Inspector and earned the rank of Senior Chief Engineman before retiring from the Navy. He had also worked at Bass Pro and Springfield City Utilities and enjoyed farming and working with cattle. He was a member of the Billings VFW. Randie was preceded in death by his father, Winfred, in 2006. He was survived by his children and their spouses, Randie and Rachel, Phillip, Melanie and Chris, and Steven and Cary; seven grandchildren; and his mother, Guinevere.
