Mary Agnes was the third daughter of John A. and Lizzie Little. The Little family lived on a farm near Ottawa, but moved into Pomona, probably before 1890. Mary Agnes was married to Frank Hetzel on April 4, 1907 in Denver, Colorado. They lived on a farm near Princeton in Franklin County, Kansas. They were the parents of three sons, John Charles, Clyde Frank, and Gordon. Mary died of appendicitis in a Chanute hospital at the age of 36.
