LYCKLAMA, HELEN HAMPTON A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at Ainsworth Elementary School, 2425 SW Vista, Portland, OR 97201, for Helen Hampton Lycklama, who died Aug. 1 at age 54. There will also be a student tribute at Ainsworth on Tuesday, Aug. 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to celebrate her life and dedication to students both past and present. Helen was born May 30, 1949, in Albany, Calif., and moved to Portland in 1987. A teacher at Ainsworth Elementary School for 16 years, Helen's energy and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. Survivors include her daughters, Sara and Lisa Wood; sisters, Cherry Moore, Jeannie Hampton and Kathy Schjelderup; and parents, Bob and Dorothy Hampton. Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's honor to the Portland Public Schools Foundation, 516 SE Morrison, Suite 1200, Portland, OR 97214.
