Fairport: Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, July 12, 2010 at age 87 after a brief illness. Predeceased by her husband, Benjamin D.; son, Benjamin L.; brother, Luman Cleveland; 3 sisters, Sara Stephens, Margaret Cleveland & Emma Lou King. Survived by her daughters, Kitty Kintzing, Boulder, CO., & Sally Trumble, Fairport, NY; brothers, Wendell Cleveland, Horseheads, NY, Sidney (Sandra), Lansing, NY; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Cleveland, Phyllis MacDonald, Virginia Jackson; brothers-in-law, Don King, Ron Crooks; daughter-in-law, Barbara (Chris) Schlerf; grandchildren, Christof Kintzing, Tara Turner, Wells (Laura), Faye Turner; great-grandchild, Brooke Rawlings-Kintzing, Falls Church, VA; loving nieces, Katherine, Mary, Nancy, Susan, Cathy, Annie, Lizzie, Lorraine and Christine & nephews, David, Michael, Doug and Jim; Robert and Beulah King Howe (her maid of honor).
She retired from Gannett Newspapers.
Esther made an Anatomical Gift of her body to the U of R Medical Center. The family would like to thank everyone at Unity Hospital, Kirkhaven Living Center, and the years of loving care from Dr. Zaky.

Her 43 year old nephew, Brian Kevin Cleveland, passed on July 15, 2010, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
