Clarence Almon Bigelow, 74, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at the Beehive Home in Eagar. He was born June 1, 1934, in Eagar to Joseph Almon Bigelow and Dorthella May Dillard.

Clarence served as Apache County manager from 1983-2002. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as bishop in Kingman. He was a member of the Apache County Posse and a key lobbyist for rural Arizona counties.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Barbara Bigelow; son Jared (Linda) Bigelow; daughters Kimberly (Shane) Penrod, Lori (Quentin) Heiner, Valerie Covey and Christine (Levi) Howard; 16 grandchildren; brothers Clinton Bigelow and Joe LaMar Bigelow; and sister Loydene Roylance. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 27, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity Building, with a viewing one hour prior.
