DR. FIRMAN C. BROOKE died yes-
terday at the age of 75. He had been
a resident of Chicago since 1878 and
had conducted drug stores in various
parts of the city, the number being
estimated by a relative at from fifteen
to twenty. Among his places of busi-
ness were West Pullman, Rogers Park,
and the south side. He was born in
Pennsylvania and is survived by a
widow and three daughters.
