PFC Crayton Mack Heinlein

Crayton McGee "Mack" Heinlein was born on June 29, 1914. His parents are:
Father – Crayton McGee Heinlein, Sr
Mother – Lena Morrison Heinlein.
He had a brother named - William Morrison ‘Bill' Heinlein And a sister – Virginia Lucile Heinlein
He attended Charleston Public High School in Illinois.
He worked as a Railway Express agent in Anderson, Indiana and then in Mattoon, Illinois. The federal government's Railway Express Agency was kind of a precursor to package delivery companies like UPS, but railroad based instead of highway based.
Crayton M. Heinlein was enlisted on January 5, 1944.
He was a Machinegunner he serverd with the Co 'H' 39th Infantry Regiment, 9th Division.

Crayton M. Heinlein was KIA on march 18, 1945. He died of a fragment
wounds in his left arm and shoulder. He died in Kalenborn, Germany.
His oldest Larry was 9 years old and Linda was 5 years old when Mac was killed.

He was burried in a Temporally cemetery called Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Belgium on Plot J-, Row 5, Grave 95.
On 13th of november 1947. Crayton was permanently interred to Plot: C, Row: 02, Grave: 33
of the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery.
