Mrs. Van Der Woude was born August 30, 1906 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late William H. and the late Mary (Dolan) Bush, She lived in Pompton Lakes and was formerly of Paterson and Hialeah Gardens,FL.
She was employed by Quakenbush Department Store Paterson,NJ where she was Sales Associate before retiring.Previously she worked for Curtiss-Wright in Wood-Ridge.
Mrs. Van Der Woude was a parishioner of St. John The Baptist Cathedral, Paterson.
She is survived by two daughters: Kathleen Heffernan of Toms River and Anita White of Mahwah, a son: William of Toms River, 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel
