Meta Orlena Kirch was born June 18, 1903, in Plainview, the daughter of August and Albertina (Valeske) Kirch. She received her education in the Plainview schools. She married Carl Stevens Allmon in 1920. They were the parents of Raymond, Roland and Richard Allmon. Carl preceded her in death on July 27, 1939. She married Charles Melvin Horn on August 26, 1941, in McCook. Together they farmed, until they retired. Charles preceded her in death on February 4, 1977.
There are no immediate survivors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three sons, Raymond, Roland Sr., and Richard Allmon, two grandson, Roland Allmon Jr., and David Allmon, six sisters, Augusta Getscher, Anna Mordhorst, Ella Remington, Nelda Archer, Rose Langemeier and Gertrude Kirch and four brothers, August, Wilhelm, Emil and Henry Kirch.
